CAN YOU USE YOUR NAPPIES ON NEWBORN BABIES?

Yes you can! One size fits ‘most,’ from birth (around 8lbs) to toddler age, so there's no need to buy new cloth nappies as your baby grows.

ARE YOUR NAPPIES KIND TO SKIN?

Our nappies have a microfleece lining that is soft against skin and naturally moisture wicking to keep your baby dry and comfortable.

All materials used are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning you can rest assured that every component of the nappy has been tested for harmful substances and is therefore safe for babies.

DO YOU SAVE MONEY WITH REUSABLE NAPPIES?

In the long run, yes. It is estimated that parents save between £200 - £500 over 2.5 years by using reusable nappies.

ARE REUSABLE NAPPIES KIND TO THE PLANET?

In short, yes! To put it in perspective, 7 million trees are felled annually to make disposable nappies in the UK alone, which equates to 4.5 trees per baby. 3 billion nappies are disposed of each year alone in the UK. It is estimated that these nappies take over 500 years to degrade and untreated sewage can enter our water system this way.

WHAT SIZE ARE YOUR NAPPIES?

Our nappies are one size fits ‘most’ from birth (around 8lbs) to potty training (around 35lbs). They are generously sized, so will fit chunkier babies, whilst they can be adjusted using the thigh and rise snaps to fit smaller babies too.

WHERE ARE YOUR NAPPIES MADE?

Our nappies are designed in Scotland and made in China. Our suppliers were carefully selected and the materials used meet the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 for textiles. The factory is SEDEX Audit approved, which assesses a site based on their organisation's standards of labour, health and safety, environment and business ethics. We produce the nappies in small batches to reduce waste.

To help offset the carbon produced in manufacture and transportation of the nappies, we are happy to support Earthly with their Mangrove regeneration project in Madagascar, planting one tree for each product sold. For more information, click here.

If you wish to return an item, you have 14 days from delivery to request a return. Please contact us via email (hello@nappyshak.com) or using the Contact Form with the subject ‘Return.’ Your item must be in the condition that you received it in (unused and unwashed).
