The 3 main reasons I started using cloth nappies...

1. Environmental - after having my son, I was shocked at the amount of single-use waste produced by one small baby! I wanted to find a more sustainable option to disposable nappies, so started exploring Reusable Cloth Nappies; initially on a part-time basis, whilst I built up my collection, before transitioning to full time once I had enough to reduce washing to every 3 days. I took great satisfaction in knowing how may disposable nappies I was saving from landfill... And so the addiction began! 🌲

2. Money and convenience - I found it a real nuisance always popping to the shops for more disposable nappies. Although, Reusable Cloth Nappies can be more expensive at the beginning, it is amazing how quickly your Cloth Nappies will pay for themselves. 💷

3. Better for baby - I noticed when my son wore Reusable Cloth Nappies, he was less prone to getting nappy rash and it always started to heal when I put him in cloth nappies. Many disposable nappies contain harsh chemicals that can irritate baby skin. It is quite scary the chemical found in disposable nappies and I wanted to reduce exposure to chemicals as much as possible. 👶
